Device group II. The device is intended for use in environments where explosive atmospheres are likely to occur.
High-level of protection: category 2. Intended use in environments where explosive gas atmospheres are likely to occur, due to vapors, mists or mixtures of air and dust.
System for the protection of potentially explosive gases and dusts. The device remains powered and operating in Zones 1, 2 (G) and 21, 22 (D).
Explosion-proof enclosure.
Temperature Class 85 °C.
Fully protected against dust and powerful water jets (IP66).
The box is prepared with a 1″ cable gland IOS7/ 1RC and ¾” IOS7/ 1RC barrier for armed cables with specifications: ATEX Ex ll2GD Exd ll C IP 66.
Operating range 70 m without obstacles.
Prototyping and series production
IMET supports Manufacturers and System Integrators in the customizations of the product, based on the needs of their application. IMET makes prototypes and pre-series.
Once the specifications are defined, the customer plans the supplies.
The technology and installations on which IMET has invested allow a large and diversified production capacity, thus ensuring product repeatability in times that are appropriate to customer needs.
Progamming and diagnostic
Through a dedicated software, certain parameters can be changed in the system. The programming tool acts as an interface to a PC. This device allows the reading of any diagnostic information about the system.
Repairable over time
Durable and repairable, this is the perspective on which IMET products are designed, all in function of a paradigm of environmental sustainability and cost reduction.
There is certainty of spare parts supplies over time, also for systems at the end of lifecycle, thanks to a structured and well-stocked warehouse.
Harsh environments
The remote controls are designed and built to be used in the most demanding environments.
In order to ensure the durability, the products are testing internally with instrumentation and systems that check infiltration, aging, salt spray, UV, fire; only to mention some.
